Abstract

The study sought to demonstrate the effectiveness of blended learning-based instruction in teaching vocabulary to English as a foreign language student. The study used an experimental approach, and the research community included all intermediate-level English language students at Mu'tah University. The study sample consisted of 50 male and female students divided evenly into two experimental and control groups. A vocabulary test was developed, and the study's findings revealed a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the responses of students in the experimental and control groups on the vocabulary test, choosing the experimental group that wasaught using blended learning.
