Abstract

This study addresses the subject of the founding and history of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and seeks to shed light on the historical circumstances that led to its establishment by basing the research on diverse and detailed Islamic, biblical, and historical sources.The study demonstrates the importance of the subject of the founding of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Islamic texts, and how it was referred to directly or indirectly.
