Abstract

This study explores the impact of the concept of Islah (reform) in Islamic jurisprudence on the development of environmental protection policies. It considers efforts to protect vegetation cover and combat desertification as part of significant interests aimed at benefiting society and preventing the harm of desertification. Furthermore, the research underscores the necessity to enhance awareness about the importance of vegetation cover, ensure strict implementation of regulations, and encoPrinciple of Islahurage sustainable agricultural and environmental projects. It also highlights the close relationship between Islamic jurisprudence and environmental efforts, affirming the role of Islamic principles in guiding environmental policies towards sustainable development and maintaining ecological balance.
